When I swipe my finger when starting yast from kde and being asked for the root password, it says "wrong password" once and does not react to the next swipes. When I select "cancel" and start yast again, this starts from the beginning.

Unfortunately, the KDE applications are not yet supporting anything other than password authentication. Thus, ThinkFinger does not work. As there is nothing on my side I could do, I'd suggest filing a new report for the KDE guys.
