https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=637225 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=637225#c0 Summary: YaST Partitioner ignores its own default settings in "Edit partition" dialog Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: ashaduri@gmail.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (X11; Linux x86_64; U; en) Presto/2.2.15 Version/10.11 When installing openSUSE, I opened the expert partitioner, went to its "Settings", and set the "Default Mount by" to "Device Name" and "Default Filesystem" to "Ext4". However, when I clicked "Edit" on existing partition, the Format Partition's Filesystem was still set to ext3. Also, going to "Fstab Options", the "Mount in /etc/fstab by" field was still set to "Device ID". I had to manually set it to "Device Name" for 15 existing partitions or so. It does apply when you create new partitions or change partitions to the formatted or mounted. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
