This is a bug in the theme. + width of the stripe. I don't think it's a big issue, but it can eventually be fixed if there's a strong feeling here. + close button. I believe that the UI team actually wanted the close button originally. + icon: the example you chose has no icon, but notifications can have an icon, so no difference here. Am I missing something? Yeah, I figured the color was a theme thing, but I wasn't sure how to fix it. 2. Compared to the older notifications, it's kind of obnoxious and annoying. BUt if people prefer it, then it could be kept. 3. The close button is not a complaint, it's a great thing. Especially since on 10.3 I have notifications that don't go away ;-) 4.
