http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=585199 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=585199#c0 Summary: suspend lid-close fails when kscreensaver is active Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Mobile Devices AssignedTo: mobile-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jw@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Blocks: 357354 Found By: --- Blocker: --- Lenovo X60s. I reproducably find, the machine will not suspend upon lid-close, if kscreensaver is up and locking the screen. I first have to unlock, then close lid suspends the machine. surprisingly, switching to a console and saying s2ram always works. with or without kscreensaver running. What else is lid-close doing besides calling s2ram? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Wow, that sounds quite complicated ;-) Have you already tried KDE 4.4 or Factory? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I know, it's a shame :-( If you like, you could give kernel-maintainers@ a try, but I doubt they will have more time either, so closing it for know... -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
