Instead of second stage I saw KDE's login screen without any user to log on. After one more reboot I was told installation somehow failed and I was asked if I want to continue (all that was displayed in graphics mode, not text mode). I responded "Yes". Then picture flickered and I saw KDE's log in screen again. Interesting thing may be what I see on ALT+CTRL+F8. It's part of Xorg.0.log with Xorg crash logged. Do you really believe it's source of my problem? Rafal: could you reproduce this crash on installed system ?
I tried. About 50 X starts and not a one caused crash. I've also installed milestone 8 and problem is gone now. I'm not sure if I've seen machine reboot while installation... did we remove reboot routine? Just for sure I've rebooted machine few times and restarted X 10 times.
