As of the KDE release, KUSC has returned to it's normal setup with snapshots of the upcoming KDE 4.8 release. Unfortunately the BuildService does not cooperate and therefore we are a little bit behind planning to release the 4.7.41 snapshot. But thank you for notifying us about this issue. I have also changed the text on the link indicated by you so that it is clear that we can not always release a weekly snapshot. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Johannes;
Your help is always welcome, [...]
If help is really welcome and should be continual openSUSE's KDE maintainers should learn to make use of management by delegation/exception. An open source project is like real life: If you say to your employees they should do sth. and do not give them permissions to decide but make them responsible then they will become frustrated ... In Germany we call it "Missverhältnis zwischen Aufgabe - Kompetenz - Verantwortung". If you force 100% job performance for giving more space and promise everything under the sun but you as a superior do much less (e. g. kde4-l10n package has not been updated for a while) you must not wonder if your employees become frustrated. Btw. Ismail, you promised to talk about such this issue (IRC query 2011 May 25 19:08:25 CEST) But I assume help is not really wanted because "How To Be A Member Of The openSUSE KDE Team" does not explain how you can become a member or a maintainer .. Help is always wanted given that an open source project is meant to be run like that, not by a few elites. You got a point about the maintainer process. We need a near-formal process for maintainership. I'll discuss with Gnome team to see how they manage such a process.
