Details: - 3.5 External USB enclosure with 160 GB Seagate SATA disk - Connected and plugged in ok, powered on ok. What commands do I use, to mount this device ? What commands do I use, to format this device ? What format should I choose ? I just intend to use one big partition. For some reasons the attached USB disk (sda) nevers shows up in /proc/partitions and also /sys/block/sda seems not have valid entries. Nexstar3. http://www.vantecusa.com/p_nst360u2.html It did the job nicely, The drive I tried to use earlier I put in this one works. OpenSUSE 10.2 recognises and uses the drive attached.
