It has been a mistake to push x11-video-nvidia to the NVIDIA repo. I sent this bug report after issuing this problem on the forum see Link. There is probably a solution available for supporting the old graphic boards on Kernel 3.11.x. Maybe the push as currently available is not the best, but it might be worth to take a look at the provided solution on Nvidia. Before closing the bug I think it might be worth to create an Opensuse compatible patch and give it a chance. If you would guide me I'm glad to beta-test a solution. The hardware I'm using is more than 10 years old. It has two monitors attached and worked before with an Opensuse 12.1 providing the dual screen mode. Now I'm having two monitors attached and both show the same contents which is boring. For the old main-board most graphic boards with dual screen interface are Nvidia based. Creating a patch for a proprietary driver, which won't be reviewed by the vendor. And chances are that NVIDIA won't host such a RPM anyway. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

And maybe it should be removed for 12.3 as well, since that driver doesn't work with Xorg 1.13.2 anyway. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

As said before, fixed for the next driver update, which is pushed to NVIDIA.

Indeed. xorg-server 1.12 is the latest version, which is still supported. Also fixed for the next push. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

OK, sorry. I thought this has been done already, and the package reappeared by mistake. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
