It appears to be this upstream bug in the KDE4 integration: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69002 So disabling the file preview in the file picker dialog should get rid of the crashes (click on the wrench symbol on the file picker's toolbar). Can you confirm that? Another user has also confirmed that his crashes are gone now in the above-mentioned forum thread. Can you try them please, and report back if they solve the issue for you as well?
