[Bug 213278] New: zmd doesn't work
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=213278 Summary: zmd doesn't work Product: SUSE Linux 10.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: SuSE Linux 10.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Zenworks AssignedTo: zlm-code10-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: f.alabas@ttnet.net.tr QAContact: jtariq@novell.com After latest update, ZMD doesn't work either at startup or manually. When I make it work manually, it seems working, but actually not, because both rug and zen-updater goes into an infinite loop such as they are looking for new patches endlessly. I have attached the related log file. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=213278 f.alabas@ttnet.net.tr changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |FIXED ------- Comment #2 from f.alabas@ttnet.net.tr 2006-10-19 08:22 MST ------- While checking previous bug reports, I have seen bug 191140 that is very similar to mine. I have applied the solution offered in that case, which seems not a resolution for bug 191140 itself, but worked for me. Here, I repeat the solution; I have deleted /var/lib/zmd/zmd.db file and "installed-packages-stamp" file that are most probably corrupted during my latest update process, then rebooted the machine. That's all an immediate solution. Now, working perfectly. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
