Certain Items are hardly readable with that profile, the default setting should be set to "Linux Console" or something similar for better readability. At least I wasn't involved in this at all. It can be argued that a terminal is already very special, so not following the tango colors wouldn't be a big issue. Or maybe it's possible to rework a bit the colors, but Jakub would know better than me in this case. Note that I'm using my terminal with a dark background, and I suspect many people do the same... For me it's just a matter of finding the proper value for the background color to support the matching foreground.
