System did not find URL's and I could also not ping my router, while Knetworkmanager was active. I have tried to collect some information. ifconfig -a wlan0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:22:43:15:BC:C2 inet addr:192.168.2.135 Bcast:192.168.2.255 Mask:255.255.255.0 inet6 addr: fe80::222:43ff:fe15:bcc2/64 Scope:Link UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:512105 errors:5687 dropped:1 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:6237 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:42271455 (40.3 Mb) TX bytes:34322 (33.5 Kb) Interrupt:17 lspci -k 02:00.0 Network controller: RaLink RT2860 Subsystem: RaLink Device 2790 Kernel driver in use: rt2860 If I set up the wireless network via Yast it works correctly in 11.4 -5of6. The wireless connection worked normally in openSUSE 11.3 KDE via Knetworkmanager. What info should I collect to further investigate the problem. The live USB had saved that configuration. If you need the same info while the network is not configured via Yast than I have to reconfigure KNetwork manager and collect the same output again. Please let me know.
