The symptom is that the auth helper never seems to get any data from Apache, therefore authentication fails. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install apache2-mod_auth_ntlm, configure a virtual host accordingly 2. try to authenticate (note that the required environment is rather complex, e.g. adding the site to Intranet zone in Windows settings, configuring winbind correctly etc.) Actual Results: Nothing happens - the request never returns. I tried stracing ntlm_auth, but it seemed to be stuck waiting for answer from apache. Expected Results: Auth info is passed to apache, SSO works. :-) I've created a patch to fix that and improve error reporting and it worked.
