Attached you will find a patch (from KDE SVN #817673) that improves the situation. This patch improves the situation in the following ways: * It fills in all desktop names right at the start of the module, using * The desktop name as found in the X Window configuration * The desktop name as found in kwinrc * The default "Desktop X" * Disables editing of desktop names that are marked as immutable by Kiosk. This patch was initiated by a customer of ours that requires desktop names to be preset in a global configuration file, even when a user has fewer desktops configured than that configuration file has names defined.
