[Bug 753110] New: xorg-x11 xcb RPMs missing components
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=753110 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=753110#c0 Summary: xorg-x11 xcb RPMs missing components Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.2 Version: Factory Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 12.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: bnc-team-xorg-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: mabrand@mabrand.nl QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:11.0) Gecko/20120312 Firefox/11.0 SeaMonkey/2.8 The xorg-x11 RPMs for opensuse 12.1 seem to be complete enough to build Qt5 with the xcb platform driver. (xorg-x11-devel-7.6-25.1.2 and contemporaries.) However, in opensuse factory (xorg-x11-devel-7.6-35.1 and contemporaries), headers and libs are missing, for example, xcb/xcb_icccm.h. I suspect some of the RPMs content got lost in the great reshuffling between these versions. Qt 5 is dropping xlib support in favor of xcb so this will become important. By the way, even on opensuse 12.1, the Qt configure script complains that xcb is old. Qt 5 requires libxcb >= 1.5. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install all xorg-x11 and xcb -devel RPMs on opensuse factory. 2. 3. Actual Results: Observe that headers and libraries are missing. (such as xcb/xcb_icccm.h) Cannot build Qt5 from source. Expected Results: info from #opensuse-factory discussion: sndirsch might interested in this bug dirk might have (tried to) compile Qt 5 on opensuse factory. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
