I am not seeing this in my testing.

What are the outputs of two 'du' command below for the image you are checking,

'du -h <vm>.qcow2'

'du -h --apparent-size <vm>.qcow2'

I have created a new VM with 40G virtIO Disk in virt-manager-2.0.0-4.1 and I didn't even start the installation: linux:/var/lib/libvirt/images # du -h sles12sp3.qcow2 41G sles12sp3.qcow2 linux:/var/lib/libvirt/images # du -h --apparent-size sles12sp3.qcow2 41G sles12sp3.qcow2 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
