[Bug 412476] New: Incompatibility with KVM Switch

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=412476 Summary: Incompatibility with KVM Switch Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Blocker Priority: P5 - None Component: Booting AssignedTo: jsrain@novell.com ReportedBy: andrew@joako.net QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Corporate Interoperability Test I have a "Zonet KVM3202" 2-port KVM switch. When the USB cable is connected to the openSUSE 11.0 machine the system hangs before sys v. init can run. When the USB cable is unplugged the system boots as normal. However with the KVM switch I can navigate the GRUB menu with no issues and if it is plugged in after the system has booted it works fine. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I also did test on another machine under 11.1 and the problem is not there.
