Gnome desktop auto install. I have 2 on board AsusTek MCP55 gigabit NICs. eth0 is connected but not configured while eth1 is not connected but configured. I configured eth0 by changing "assign interface to firewall zone" from "no zone..." to "external zone" and rebooted. Under 10.3, Network Settings > Overview shows ASUSTek MCP55 Ethernet DHCP which is eth0 listed above ASUSTek MCP55 Ethernet Not configured while 11.0 B2 the list is reversed. I performed 3 fresh installs of B3 from twice verified DVD. First install was KDE4. OK but no net. Then Gnome auto install. nogo and then non auto install. nogo. Will try again with KDE3. Before doing so, I inserted a router and connected both on board NICs. The first boot came up nicely with network connectivity and no problems. The Network Setting application showed ETH1 configured and ETH0 not configured.
