[Bug 237121] New: crippled sound with USB extigy
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=237121 Summary: crippled sound with USB extigy Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i386 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: goerz@physik.fu-berlin.de QAContact: qa@suse.de The sound coming out of my USB sound card (SB Extigy), configured with the Driver "Generic USB", is absolutely horrible -- completely distorted. The same soundcard used to work with the same driver on openSuse 10.0. The problem is just for the USB card, the onboard sound works. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

If this still doesn't work, it's a problem of the upstream driver, or a breakage of usb stack in the recent kernel. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
