[Bug 237828] New: make KDE/Gnome/Mozilla apps use hunspell and add hunspell binary
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=237828 Summary: make KDE/Gnome/Mozilla apps use hunspell and add hunspell binary Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bj@sernet.de QAContact: qa@suse.de hunspell is the most feature rich spell check engine and the only one with sufficient support for agglutinative languages and complex compound word support. OpenOffice uses it already and Mozilla-based applications can be patched to use it. KDE and Gnome should also be enabled to use hunspell for good quality spellchecking. In addition there is a stand alone hunspell binary which would be good as a drop in replacement for people who need a ispell-like interface. Fedora is consolidating to hunspell, too and you find links to some patches there: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/FeatureDictionary -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
