The ioslaves for IMAP hold a persistent connection to the server which breaks when switching default route or when suspended, but these first notify the failure to KMail when the TCP connection times out. I had a patch to our KDE 3 packages to use NetworkManager's signals to abort the slaves on change or suspend a few releases ago, but was not able to keep it applying or merge it upstream as it was hacky. The next-generation KDE PIM resources have offline mode notification already, so this should be fixed when KMail is switched to Akonadi. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
