I was trying to update my testing oS 12.1 installation with a dup from within
the zypper shell and I obtained the following message:
Failed to mount
cd:///?devices=/dev/disk/by-id/ata-VBOX_CD-ROM_VB2-01700376,/dev/sr0 on :
Mounting media failed
Please insert medium [openSUSE-12.1-12.1-0] #1 and type 'y' to continue or 'n'
to cancel the operation. [yes/no] (no): n
Invalid answer 'n'. Enter 'y' for 'yes' or 'n' for 'no' if nothing else works
for you. [yes/no] (no):
As you can see, there is a conflict between the description of the action (y/n)
user can choose to solve the problem ("Please insert medium
[openSUSE-12.1-12.1-0] #1 and type 'y' to continue or 'n' to cancel the
operation.") and the actual action (s)he can perform ("[yes/no] (no):").
This string corresponds to
#. TranslatorExplanation translate letters 'y' and 'n' to whathever is
appropriate for your language.
#. Try to check what answers does zypper accept (it always accepts y/n at
least)
#. You can also have a look at the regular expressions used to check the answer
here:
#. /usr/lib/locale/
