I checked the web for similar problems, but everything that has been reported was about audio distortion in the guest. I expect that your host is using pulseaudio. Back when audio was a real pain, I knew how to inquire, but I have forgotten what was needed. I have tried to find an RPM with a newer kernel, but I didn't have much luck, other than the TW 5.12.12 kernel. That may be too big a stretch for Leap 15.3 libraries. I will keep researching this issue, but in the meantime, you have a workaround.
