http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1067772 Bug ID: 1067772 Summary: quiterss: SIGSEGV and missing dependency declaration (libQt5Sql5-sqlite) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: maciek.krawiec@zoho.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Quiterss does not declare package libQt5Sql5-sqlite as it's required dependency, even though it is unusable without this package. I couldn't reproduce the crash, does it happen on startup? Also can you produce a gdb backtrace? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Since you don't have libQt5Sql5-sqlite installed by default, I assume you aren't on plasma5.
I run minimal x install + plasma5-session -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1067772 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1067772#c4 --- Comment #4 from Luigi Baldoni <aloisio@gmx.com> --- Could you also post the rest of the log preceeding the crash? Is there anything special to know about your machine/environment? And, while you're at it, perhaps you could try temporarily renaming ~/.config/QuiteRss ~/.config/QuiteRssrc and ~/.local/share/QuiteRss and start with a fresh profile to see if that changes anything. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1067772 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1067772#c5 --- Comment #5 from Maciek Krawiec <maciek.krawiec@zoho.com> --- Clearing ~/.local/share/QuiteRss/ did indeed solved SIGSEGV issue. Thanks for pointing it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1067772 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1067772#c6 --- Comment #6 from Maciek Krawiec <maciek.krawiec@zoho.com> --- Ok, I investigated further what happened and so if libQt5Sql5-sqlite is not present on first start of the app it generates corrupted ~/.local/share/QuiteRss/QuiteRss/feeds.db, so it needs to be deleted after the dependency is installed, in order for the app to run without SIGSEGV. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
