'zypper lp' finds the test patches too, but kupdateapplet just says "checking for updates" endleessly. No packagekit process seems to be accessing the package management, nor running at all for that matter. Which is probably part of the problem ;-) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

KPackagekit is able to list the available updates, but I can't seem to get the thing to install them. It seems to get stuck at "simulating update", and it never asks for root password, which I expect it should at some point. gnome-packagekit (gpk-update-viewer) also sees the updates, but fails installing with the error "could not do simulate: Did not find the specified package." -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
