https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=883992 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=883992#c1 --- Comment #1 from Lars Müller <lmuelle@suse.com> 2014-06-24 23:07:23 CEST --- This applies to: kernel-default-3.15.rc7-1.2.x86_64 suspend-1.0-32.1.x86_64 systemd-210-13.1.x86_64 I expect https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Suspend_to_RAM and https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Suspend_to_disk do no longer apply. Are there better instructions how to debug the described issue? Very likely in the kernel sources. But I'll appreciate any hint where to start. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Also, how did you test S3 and S4? The recent way would be to invoke via systemctl suspend and systemctl hibernate. Also, S4 problem might be rather in GRUB or dracut, who didn't recognize the hibernated image. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=883992 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=883992#c3 --- Comment #3 from Lars Müller <lmuelle@suse.com> 2014-08-01 00:36:09 CEST --- I've used powersave -U or -u After reading your comment #2 I fear this approach is deprecated under systemd. In the meantime I've downgraded to openSUSE 13.1 as the missing hibernation is a show stopper for me. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
