[Bug 282452] New: Active desktop-borders don't work anymore
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=282452 Summary: Active desktop-borders don't work anymore Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: astro06@alice-dsl.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Hey! After upgrading my version of KDE 3.5.7 from release 23.1 to 31.1, I experience some trouble with my active desktop-borders. The borders on the left and right side are shut, so I can't drag windows and drop them on another desktop anymore, at least not the way my desktops are ordered (in a horizontal row). It still does work by using the borders at top and bottom, so I guess up/down left/right are simply switched for kdesktop. The settings in KControl referring to the behavior of the borders are ok, reactivating etc. doesn't change anything, so does restarting KDE itself or rebooting. I have reported this bug to KDE yesterday, see link: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=146513 ..but meanwhile I am not sure wether this is a original KDE-bug or should be reported to the build-services. This bug so far is reported only for SuSE and has been mentioned in the SuSE-KDE mailing list, so I open this bug-report. gropiuskalle -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Dragging from #1 to #2 / #3 to #4 works. I reported this to bugs-kde.org as well. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
