The kernel panics on the bare hardware too, but it spews all over the display and the keyboard is useless. I hit this bug about a year ago, but did not report it then. I don't know what kernel version it appeared, but I know this setup worked on older kernels. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

But here's a new /var/log/messages starting from bootup. The same cycle repeats again and again, so I only included a few repititons. The console was unusable, even in the VM, so I only had /var/log/messages after shutting down the VM. It repeatedly (the preempt count rises) invokes some kernel function which doesn't unlock a previously locked lock. What do the file descriptors point at at the time of this BUG? Attach output of: ll /proc/<PID of dosemu>/fd/ Also it might be useful to see what 'strace -f' emits at the time of the BUG. When this happens you can attach strace such as: strace -fp <PID of dosemu> -o output and see what output looks like. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

The kernel has paniced and the console is unusable, it's spitting continuous error messages. How can I get the info you want? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
