What means "screen has no graphics" and "limited access to opensuse" exactly? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

After which firefox fails to open any link. Mainly it opens to google.com Some links like opensuse links do work but there appears to be no pattern to the odd one that works. Prior to this firefox works flawlessly. This may be a similar issue? Replicated by myself. added adblock filter to konqueror - using link (used saved filter on 2nd attempt) after which firefox bookmarks fail to work. Re-installing back up fails to fix. Konqueror crashes after this. Hope this is of help. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

For example google.com opened up narwhale.opensuse.org, it said wiki not found. Also opensuse.org loads 'broken up; (only the news column is visible). When trying to acess the local server 192.168.0.2 it ended up giving 'novell authentication : Failure' or something to that effect My profile folder ./mozilla at that time is: http://pages.intnet.mu/digiwiz/suse/opensusestuck.tar.gz After trying to disable extensions/addons (uninstalled flash player too): No effect Deleting the ./mozilla folder recreated it after mozilla had been launched but this time got stuck with mozilla -first run pages. The profile folder now is: http://pages.intnet.mu/digiwiz/suse/firefoxstuck.tar.gz Note: On first install there were no problems, there are only two actions which were done BEFORE it started acting funny: 1. Flash player was installed but did NOT work (on both konqueror and firefox) 2. Clear private data was used with option 'Everything' Note: The folllowing were done AFTER the problem started: 1. Disable all extensions (the default opensuse ones) -- No effect 2. Delete ./mozilla -- Got stuck at mozilla.com instead (see above). Konqueror is working fine and has no problems -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Please check your KDE proxy settings. Probably they are set to manual configuration but the config is empty? In that case it's the same and after you fixed it to use no proxies it should work again. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=548006 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=548006#c5 --- Comment #5 from Catcat Mu <catcatmu@gmail.com> 2010-01-07 13:41:25 UTC --- Proxy settings were correct. It seems more like a resolving error; resolving every address, but using the ip of the first page visited. On the default installation the problem disapeared after installing the torbutton extension. However after updating firefox all works perfectly. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
