Check /var/log/YaST2 on your disk and attach them here. Is there any chance to reproduce the bug, and if so, then store the logs from the live system? If it helps, you can mount a remote NFS share, USB stick or anything similar to /var/log/YaST2... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=808046 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=808046#c5 --- Comment #5 from Jiri Srain <jsrain@suse.com> 2013-03-11 08:12:15 UTC --- Looking at the end of the log, there are following errors: sh: /bin/chown: Input/output error sh: /bin/chmod: Input/output error sh: /bin/cp: Input/output error sh: /bin/df: Input/output error I especially wonder why /bin/df ends up with I/O error. This looks to me like the bug is not directly related to the live installer, but to something deeper in the system. Maybe lack of RAM (meaning, you run out of ramdisk for your live system)? Can you try to increase RAM if you run live installer in virtual environment? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

DVD-Version (x86_64 RC2 Build 94) has no problems with boot manager installation. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
