No, it's not perfect because that is some sort of circular dependency which maybe was required as safeguard in the past. Therefore: 1. the next Thunderbird package which will be published in mozilla within this week (most likely) will do the same step as MozillaFirefox and zypper will then not give you a choice of Thunderbird or Firefox ESR but only the latter 2. when bug 1226112 will be finally fixed the problem is gone completely and this will likely happen during the next 2-3 weeks as well Apart from that it still sounds like you can just remove kmozillahelper as a package and be good?
