I'v lost the feature that mutes speakers when hearphones are connected in the front hearphone jack. Also, in many cases, just pass model=auto option to snd-hda-intel may work. Give it a try.

First time I fix it by adding in /etc/modprobe.d/50-sound.conf file this line options snd-hda-intel model=dell-laptop so it looks options snd-hda-intel model=dell-laptop options snd slots=snd-hda-intel # u1Nb.0Fqxcod+Ly7:82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller alias snd-card-0 snd-hda-intel weeks laters I updated opensuse normaly, and the problem came back.
