This due to the use of the cvttqd2dq instruction using values from xmm0 register without being cleared after a memset(). This happens on a : nlbaldev3 $ uname -a Linux nlbaldev3 3.0.101-0.46-default #1 SMP Wed Dec 17 11:04:10 UTC 2014 (8356111) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux See the attached program.
