Actual Results: Nothing special - sound does not work. I still have at least 2 other chipsets with non-working sound - i will bugzilla them all, but I suspect you MUST already know something.
Expected Results: Stitty new guidance - i am not an isiot.

So, please give the detailed information as much as possible (but concisely at the same time). For example, which desktop system, which sound subsystem, which apps tested, which I/O jack tested, how is the mixer setup, whether it's an update or a fresh installation, etc. These are necessary information to debug, but not provided so far.
Also, run /usr/sbin/alsa-info.sh with --no-upload option, and upload the result to the bugzilla. This will contain the detailed hardware information.

So the bug is only the non-functional YaST sound test and the segfaulting YaST volume.
