It may annoy you, but if the reporter follows the instruction and understand its role properly, it'll be a great help. The sho So, please give the detailed information as much as possible (but concisely at the same time). For example, which desktop system, which sound subsystem, which apps tested, which I/O jack tested, how is the mixer setup, whether it's an update or a fresh installation, etc. These are necessary information to debug, but not provided so far. Also, run /usr/sbin/alsa-info.sh with --no-upload option, and upload the result to the bugzilla. This will contain the detailed hardware information.
