[Bug 1011250] unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1011250 http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1011250#c10 Neil Brown <nfbrown@suse.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |IN_PROGRESS --- Comment #10 from Neil Brown <nfbrown@suse.com> --- Please install the update. It might be interesting to see another crash message as there is one detail that I cannot fully explain and another crash might show that it was just an accidental detail. But it isn't worth waiting for. I managed to get all the necessary information about this incident from the details you posted. On reflection, I think the patch I provided introduces an occasional memory leak. That is not a serious problem and shouldn't stop you testing it, but it does mean that I will need to revise the patch before I submit a final fix. After you have been running the new kernel for 2 weeks without incident, please report that here and I will proceed with the patch. Of course, if you get a failure before that, please report it straight away :-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
