[Bug 978314] New: KMail stores encrypted Emails encrypted
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=978314 Bug ID: 978314 Summary: KMail stores encrypted Emails encrypted Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE Applications Assignee: opensuse-kde-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: cookie170@web.de QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Since at least ten years KMail, regardless of version, suffers under a bug: Incoming or outgoing emails, which are encrypted for sending, are saved encrypted, which is nonsense. Nobody encrypts Emails to make them unreadable on the harddisk. For such a purpose there is LUKS and whatever. Many users asked for correction of this bug, see here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28261 Really, it is annoying and preventing users from encrypting their email. Regards, Alexander -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
