However, carrying out the firmware installation results in a kernel oops (see attachment). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: sudo /usr/sbin/install_bcm43xx_firmware (after a fresh install) Actual Results: Kernel oops Expected Results: Working WiFi adapter. OK, I can try that. Except, I've never tried to make openSUSE run on a stock kernel. Did a fresh install from the Live image, then "zypper up" to the latest version of everything. After a reboot the system is running "kernel-default-3.4.33-2.24.1.i586".
