With compiz disabled it doesn't happen. The gfx card is an ATI HD4350 with whatever default driver is used. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Ensure compiz is running then select 'Display and Monitor' in system settings 2. Change resolution, watch windows become broken up. 3. Can you please test those packages? Selecting any resolution other than the default results in broken windows. Returning to the default resolution works. I'm not sure how to install packages from factory. My experience with Linux is still a bit limited. I turned on Desktop effects and changed resolutions using 11.4 final and the problem is no longer evident.
