You can watch the y2logs from that bug report, as well as screenshots from partitioner. Replacing option 'hotplug' by 'nofail' under the partitioner, makes all the configuration work (the yast part). The problem arises when rebooting. This time, after loading the kernel, it will try to read fstab, and fail with the screenshots provided. The resulting relevant line in /etc/fstab after iscsi-client and partitioner is: /dev/disk/by-id/scsi-149455400000000000000000001000000361400000f000000-part1 /users ext3 acl,user_xattr,nofail 1 2 Besides having this information, i have cleaned directory /var/log/YaST2 and recreated the steps of logging to an iscsi using iscsi-client, and then partitioning again the iscsi disk. Because of the bug above, i had to change 'hotplug' by 'nofail' in fstab options. All the steps run fine from YaST perspective. Then i made y2logs.tgz that is now attached.
