[Bug 327440] New: KRandrTray, and KDE complain about incompatable randr protocol
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=327440 Summary: KRandrTray, and KDE complain about incompatable randr protocol Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: RC 1 Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: ciaran.gillespie@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: System Test Currently you are unable in KDE to use either the KRandrTray program, or the desktop configuration screen to rotate the screen with the randr extension. KDE complains that because the randr protocol is at a version of 1.2 or greater. Also if you try to use xrandr command directly to flip the screen KDE gets confused about the root window's size, and doesn't change the size accordingly. So when your running 768x1024, it still has the desktop at 1024x768. So you loose part of the desktop off to the side, and you have a black void at the bottom. This is making my tablet a little blue. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
