However, eth0 got an IPV4 address but nothing else has happened: it could not contact to the outer world, even not by pinging known IP-addresses and there was no name resolution at all (not in the internal network). Some extra comments: - This failure did not occur on 11.0, or even on 11.1 Beta-5, it is new to RC1 - The failure apparently only occurs with certain DHCP servers: - When connecting to a broadcom AP action as a DHCP server the system can correctly pick up all fields and connect to the net. - eth0 connected to this broadcom AP also correctly picks up all DHCP config - eth0 to my corporate network can populate IP address and subnet mask, but gateway and DNS are blank - wlan0 connected to an AP configured as hub (not router) on my corporate network (to allow corp DHCP to manage) will also only populate IP address and subnet mask, but gateway and DNS are left blank - nm-tool reports gateway blank, and DNS is not populated when connected to the "bad" network -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
