After logging I can see only "Home directory" and "Trash" on my KDE4's desktop. I believe we should also put "Computer" icon to sysinfo:/ by default. It's very usable place allowing to monitor devices, system version, gpu, cpu, battery and so on. We provided such an icon in every earlier openSUSE with KDE3.
