[Bug 682835] New: No sound after pausing Amarok
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=682835 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=682835#c0 Summary: No sound after pausing Amarok Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: pilotgi@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 I'm using Amarok-2.4.0.90-114.1 with Kde 4.6.1. When I pause Amarok with the space bar, there is no sound when I resume play by pressing the space bar again. The status indicator moves forward and the timer counts down but there is no sound. I can pause again with the space bar, when I start up again, there is still no sound. Pausing Amarok in any way gives the same results. So if I use the tool bar or right click the panel applet and access pause from there, I still lose sound when un-pausing. KMix does not indicate that sound is muted. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: Sound should resume when Amarok is un-paused. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

If I change to xine, pause and un-pause work fine. Maybe someone should change this bug to reflect the problem is with phonon/vlc backend and not with Amarok. Or will this be marked as resolved and I need to submit a new bug? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Please report back the link to the bug report. I'm guessing the best thing is to mark this as resolved. I'll check the VLC bug tracker and see if this issue has been reported yet. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
