[Bug 977942] New: [GTK3] With default Plasma settings, text selection highlighting is not (clearly?) visible
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=977942 Bug ID: 977942 Summary: [GTK3] With default Plasma settings, text selection highlighting is not (clearly?) visible Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Firefox Assignee: bnc-team-mozilla@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: badshah400@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 675135 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=675135&action=edit Screenshot showing firefox with selected text with default Plasma theme Steps to reproduce: 1. Install gtk3 firefox (ffx) from [1] 2. Launch ffx from plasma launcher 3. Go to http://en.opensuse.org (or any other site) and select some text Actual result: Selected text is not highlighted clearly enough to be distinguished from non-selected text. Screenshot (of ffx running in a Plasma session in a VM) shows how the first paragraph from http://en.opensuse.org looks when selected in comparison to the 2nd paragraph which is not selected. Expected result: Clearly distinguishable highlighting effect on selected text. Temporary workaround: Open Plasma Settings and change the theme for GTK3 apps to Adwaita instead of Breeze. Restart ffx and text selection should now work. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
