But every 5-10mins I get a lockup. To unlock I can press ctrl-alt-f1 and then ctrl-alt-f7 and I get some more screen drawing. Eventually kde gets fed up and tells me compositing is disabled. I can't tell if the problem is with ATI, the X server, KDE 4 or something else.
