The package does actually include libsm.so, but the "AutoProv: no" (bug 461958) causes rpm to not see it. Looks like bug 551636 is back. The fix is in http://download.opensuse.org/update/11.2/rpm/src/sesam_srv-3.0.1-171.35.1.sr..., but neither in the 11.3 tree nor in factory.
