The problems are mostly fixed in trunk, but not in barnch (AFAIK), because branch is developed against Qt 4.3. Therefore the decision to ship Qt 4.3.95 with beta1 together with KDE 4.0.3 wasn't wise, unless the workaround for the rendering problems are backported. Otherwise the users will have a very bad experience with KDE (Konqueror especially), for example I have to write this report in kwrite and paste into the web form.
