Hi
(In reply to Cliff Zhao from comment #25)
Hi Thomas: I think this modification to release bochs from framebuffer forcing could ease this openQA test failure. [1]. https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:qzhao:branches:openSUSE: Factory_bsc1232727-openQA_fails_boot_encrypt_no_prompt/plymouth
The patch plymouth-only_use_fb_for_cirrus_bochs.patch should beremoved entirely. This patch causes the problem.
But rebuilding the package then results in the broken output. I think you mean "no decrypt prompt". To resolve this problem, I think it should be fix from kernel side. Since current problem is drm driver doesn't work for these 2 devices. I saw previous discussions about simple-drm. But why drm don't work never be answered from beginning to end. As your comment, plymouth find console ttys, but could not find any DRM devices. Please show your opinion? Thank you so much! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
