Here is an improved version of the patch. It integrates your percentage calculation (i. e. needs less maintenance), and adds support for two thresholds: One for files edited in last n days, and second for older files. This new feature will make new changes visible earlier, but if the translator lefts an incomplete translation, translation will disappear again after passing the defined time. Please edit following things before the push: - constants in the po-selector - decide whether target "linguas" will be part of target "all". If not, file po/LINGUAS needs to be added to GIT and removed from .gitignore. If yes, the patch could be kept as it is. - ensure that po-selector is executable By the push, you also confirm, that the code in the comment 5 will become public domain. I think that this script could be recycled in many projects, at least as until gettext-tools will implement something that does not need parsing of textual output.
